TRACY — October 26, 2026. Families seeking a Halloween experience designed for participants with special needs can register for Tracy’s sensory-friendly Monster Mash Bash on Friday, October 30, starting at 6 p.m. at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 North Central Avenue, in the Studio Theatre.
A Halloween event with accessible options
The city describes reduced-volume music and adaptive lighting to create a more comfortable dance floor. Visitors will also find a Halloween craft station and a designated quiet corner for anyone who needs a break from activity. Costumes are encouraged but not described as mandatory.
Who qualifies and what does it cost?
Admission is $5 per ticket covering one participant age 10 or older with special needs or disabilities and one adult chaperone age 18 or older. The city says the chaperone must remain available to assist throughout the event. The published price does not mean $5 per person plus another $5 for the chaperone.
Spaces, registration requirements and accommodations should be checked before traveling. For questions, the Arts Education Program lists 209-831-6276, and the box office lists 209-831-6858.
